What are TRGS?
The Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS) include up-to-date information on the state of the art and occupational safety and health as well as accepted scientific data on working with, classifiying and labelling hazardous substances. They are established and updated by the Committee on Hazardous Substances (AGS).
The German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) publishes the TRGS in the Federal Labour Gazette (Bundesarbeitsblatt). (Quoted from BAuA TRGS 001, edition: December 2006)
